Travel Fund to Bring Perspectives National Leaders to the 50th Anniversary Global Conference

In the summer of 1974, forty students attended the first Perspectives class at Wheaton College. As Perspectives has grown into an international network, it has been one of the most influential and effective components of the global mission movement over the past 50 years.

To sustain our momentum and continue to work with Jesus to bring in "the fullness of the Gentiles," we want to celebrate our 50th Anniversary with as many leaders of the Perspectives Global Network as we can. There are over 100,000 alumni outside the U.S., one-third of total alumni. We want to make it possible for at least 150 leaders of programs in 40 nations to attend this landmark event.

Most of our international leaders are from countries in the Global South with significantly lower average incomes than the U.S. Our goal is to allow them to pay what it would cost an average attendee from the United States, adjusted to the average income in their economy. This will cost an average of $1,600 per person in assistance for flights, registration, housing, and food. In total we need to raise around $240,000.

Will you help us bring the Perspectives "family" together to strengthen and accelerate this movement as it seeks to effectively mobilize the global Church until Jesus is loved, worshipped, and obeyed within every people?

We'll keep you up to date.
